General Info: $425 million; bond payments will be structured to provide a level tax rate with a maximum term of 21 years.
Elementary Playgrounds: Elementary school playgrounds will be fully inclusive and paid for by NSD bond dollars.
Portable Replacement with Permanent Classrooms: 1/3 of the NSD portables being used for classrooms will be replaced with permanent classroom space or repurposed for non-instructional use.
Sorenson Early Childhood Center: A classroom addition will be planned, developed, constructed, and equipped.
Inglemoor High School: A phased replacement will be planned. Part one of the phased replacement will be constructed and equipped.
Leota Middle School: A phased replacement will be planned. Part one of the phased replacement will be constructed and equipped.
Elementary Schools: This bond will be the start of the NSD modernizing elementary schools instead of updating their core building components.
Crystal Springs Elementary School will be partially modernized and additional classrooms will be added.
Fernwood Elementary School will be partially modernized and additional classrooms will be added.
Kenmore Elementary School will be partially modernized and additional classrooms will be added.
Maywood Hills Elementary School will be partially modernized and additional classrooms will be added.
Woodin Elementary School will be partially modernized and additional classrooms will be added.
Improvement of Building Conditions: Building conditions will be improved based on data from the NSD Building Condition Assessment.
Outdoor Learning: Outdoor learning areas will be improved based on data from the NSD assessment of these areas.
Safety and Student Health: Safety upgrades and improvements will be made.
