Thank You Voters—You helped Make Classroom to Cloud Possible!

The following excerpts from the Northshore School District website show what is happening here in Northshore in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closing of our schools.

The Technology Levy, which was approved by the voters in 2018, brought all Northshore schools to a 1:1 computing ratio for student access. Without this 1:1 computing ratio Classroom to Cloud could not be done equitably.

Classroom to Cloud
We are prepared to transition from the classroom to the cloud, to move teaching and learning beyond the four walls of the classroom for all of our students. Our instructional staff have and will continue to develop their skills for providing instruction to our students within an online environment.

Assistance, Questions & Feedback
*If you do not have access to a device and/or internet access, complete this form and we will arrange to loan your student a computing device and if necessary, an accompanying internet hot spot.
*For assistance using technology devices, call the Virtual Learning Technology Hotline 425-408-7669.

Meal Service for Online Learners
As we officially make a temporary transition from the classroom to the cloud, we are happy to share that our Food Services team has fully developed a plan to provide lunch to all students, as well as purchasing options for family members. There will be two lunch pick-up methods.

Childcare
Beginning today, the Northshore School District created space in five locations for our community partners to provide childcare. Thanks to the YMCA and Champions, there should be a space for every student whose family is in need. In addition, the Northshore Schools Foundation is generously providing scholarships for families who would otherwise be unable to afford the childcare.
